Tapered jaws provide for easier vial access when using racks. The 11 mm E- Z Crimper is supplied with a plunger insert to give the option of crimping the top of a vial creating an extra tight seal. We recommend this only for standard opening vials. Crimpers can be autoclaved, although autoclaving may change the appearance or reduce product life.
